Job Description
Supports UNICEF Colombia's mental health and psychosocial support programme for children, adolescents and families. The officer helps design, coordinate and monitor community-based MHPSS work, linking health, education, protection and social-welfare systems while providing technical assistance, evidence and partnerships that strengthen equitable national and subnational responses.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support design, implementation, coordination and monitoring of the MHPSS programme
- Provide technical assistance for multisectoral integration of mental health and psychosocial support
- Generate evidence for decision-making and support monitoring, evaluation and reporting
- Strengthen capacities and knowledge management for MHPSS partners and systems
- Build partnerships and coordinate technical work with government, civil-society and UNICEF counterparts
- Support resource and operational management and emergency preparedness for humanitarian response
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Public Health, Psychiatry, Mental Health, Psychosocial Programming or a related field
- At least one year of relevant work experience in health, mental health, psychosocial support, programme management, humanitarian response or psychosocial programmes
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of another official UN language
- Master's degree in Mental Health
- Experience with IASC MHPSS guidelines
- Experience integrating MHPSS in emergency response
- Relevant country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
