Job Description
Manage a UNDP project that strengthens water supply and utility capacity in the West Bank through well rehabilitation, transmission upgrades, a new well and improved water-service delivery. The manager will direct implementation, finances, risks and staff; coordinate partners and donors; ensure compliant, gender-responsive delivery; and report results, learning and technical progress to the Project Board.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project implementation and supervise project staff, consultants and experts
- Develop work plans, milestones and stakeholder responsibilities
- Monitor project progress, financial resources and accounting records
- Maintain the project risk log and report mitigation measures to the Project Board
- Ensure compliance with financial, procurement and administrative processes
- Integrate gender equality and community engagement into project delivery
- Coordinate implementing partners, ministries, donors and technical counterparts
- Prepare progress, corporate and dashboard reporting and synthesize lessons learned
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in water resources management, engineering, business administration, international development or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years of qualifying experience as an alternative
- At least 2 years of experience managing development projects with financial, budget, risk, staff and quality management
- Proficiency in Arabic
- Proficiency in English

- Experience engaging multilateral donors, public institutions and local government units
- Experience managing complex projects and risk-mitigation measures
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation tools
- Experience in results-based management reporting
- Knowledge of the UN system and UNDP procedures
