Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, milestones and sustainability measures within approved tolerances
  • Manage transactional service outputs, resources, work packages, suppliers and corrective action
  • Control scope, cost, schedule, quality, risks, benefits and project changes
  • Maintain compliant project plans, baselines, documentation, legal agreements and audit records
  • Establish results frameworks and monitor indicators, milestones and delivery performance
  • Prepare regular project and financial reports for partners and UNOPS governance
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, quality reviews and supplier interfaces
  • Organise, recruit, guide and manage the performance and safety of project teams

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with four years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with two years
  • Relevant project-management experience in human resources, finance, grants, procurement or related services
  • Experience in project coordination and operations management
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards and assurance methodologies
  • Fluency in French

Desired Criteria

  • Professional project-management certification or membership such as PRINCE2 or PMI
  • Experience working in multicultural or United Nations environments in a developing country
  • Experience in development or humanitarian contexts
