Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project plans, milestones and sustainability measures within approved tolerances
- Manage transactional service outputs, resources, work packages, suppliers and corrective action
- Control scope, cost, schedule, quality, risks, benefits and project changes
- Maintain compliant project plans, baselines, documentation, legal agreements and audit records
- Establish results frameworks and monitor indicators, milestones and delivery performance
- Prepare regular project and financial reports for partners and UNOPS governance
- Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, quality reviews and supplier interfaces
- Organise, recruit, guide and manage the performance and safety of project teams
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with four years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with two years
- Relevant project-management experience in human resources, finance, grants, procurement or related services
- Experience in project coordination and operations management
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards and assurance methodologies
- Fluency in French
Desired Criteria
- Professional project-management certification or membership such as PRINCE2 or PMI
- Experience working in multicultural or United Nations environments in a developing country
- Experience in development or humanitarian contexts
