Overview

Supports UNODC projects addressing human trafficking, migrant smuggling and child protection in Burkina Faso. The senior officer plans and monitors delivery, coordinates missions and workshops, manages reporting and quality assurance, tracks performance, engages partners and develops project knowledge products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update project implementation plans
  • Coordinate missions, workshops, dialogues and field monitoring
  • Integrate sustainability, inclusion and gender equality into delivery
  • Prepare narrative and financial reports for UNODC and donors
  • Track scope, schedule, cost, quality and project risks
  • Maintain dashboards and quality-assure deliverables
  • Coordinate authorities, donors, grantees and programme partners
  • Deliver project learning sessions and draft research and briefings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with four years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with two years
  • Experience in project management or a related area
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and web-based management systems
  • Fluency in English and French
