Job Description
Provides operational continuity for UNICEF's Digital Impact Division by coordinating project-management office work, procurement, contractor recruitment, vendor services and financial processes. The role maintains project records, supports budget and cost-recovery decisions, and helps teams resolve service requests so critical digital operations remain timely, compliant and well documented.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support PMO work planning, project meetings, documentation and follow-up
- Maintain project trackers, compile updates and pursue pending actions with focal points
- Coordinate procurement requisitions, contracts, payments, closure and supporting documentation
- Coordinate contractor recruitment documentation and approvals with contract managers and GSSC
- Monitor budgets, service costs and chargeback activities, including purchase-order reconciliation
- Maintain vendor, consultant and service records and escalate operational blockers
- Develop SOPs, templates and handover notes for recurring operational processes
Role Requirements
- Completion of secondary education
- At least six years of progressively responsible administrative, programme, project, procurement, finance or operations support experience
- Proficiency in English
- Spanish citizenship, EU/Schengen nationality, or a valid Spanish work permit held at application
Desired Criteria
- Supplemental formal training in business administration, finance, procurement, project management or information technology
- Experience supporting PMO processes, project monitoring, documentation, work planning or reporting
- Experience supporting procurement, contracting, purchase orders, vendor coordination or financial administration
- Experience with budget monitoring, cost recovery, DFRs, chargeback processes or WBS queries
- Experience with digital services, cloud services, ICT operations or technology service renewals
- Relevant experience in the UN system or UNICEF

Additional Information
- Seven-month temporary appointment for parental leave coverage
- General Service staff are locally recruited and responsible for their travel and accommodation arrangements
- Non-EU citizens must attach copies of valid Spanish work permits; temporary or sponsored visas are not accepted
- Appointment is subject to medical clearance and may require vaccination compliance
