Job Description

Coordinates administrative, procurement and supply-chain processes for IOM's Caracas office, supporting purchasing, supplier management, assets, fleet and facilities while maintaining compliant records, tracking contracts and helping colleagues deliver goods and services on time.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate purchasing activities, bid evaluations and purchase-order follow-up
  • Support procurement planning, supplier evaluation and negotiation of purchase terms
  • Maintain procurement records, contracts, reports and tracking tools
  • Coordinate asset management, warehousing, insurance, transport and facilities support
  • Manage fleet activities, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
  • Train junior supply-chain staff and coordinate with UN agencies, partners and authorities

Role Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, accounting, logistics, supply chain management or a related field with four years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with six years
  • Experience in project administration and logistics management, including supply-chain processes and resource management
  • Experience using administrative management systems and enterprise resource planning platforms
  • Fluency in Spanish
