Job Description

Provides project-management and administrative support for UNDP Indonesia initiatives on indigenous communities, social protection, skills and youth entrepreneurship. The role coordinates planning, reporting, records and stakeholder engagement so project teams can deliver inclusive youth and indigenous-development activities while meeting UNDP operational, financial and communication requirements.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Compile and present project information and data for implementation and reporting
  • Support annual and quarterly work plans, project board meetings, audits and project closure
  • Coordinate administrative actions including recruitment, travel, payments, procurement and security compliance
  • Maintain correspondence, filing systems, attendance records and project databases
  • Support project documentation and communication with public, development and private-sector partners
  • Organize training, workshops and knowledge-sharing activities

Role Requirements

  • Secondary education
  • At least five years of relevant project-management support experience with secondary education, or two years with a bachelor's degree
  • Experience assisting project or programme implementation
  • Experience organizing and facilitating meetings and workshops
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with Government and UN or UNDP procedures is desirable
  • Experience in project monitoring and evaluation is desirable
  • Experience supporting procurement management is desirable
  • At least one year of experience in youth empowerment and engagement is desirable
