Job Description

Supports the Serbia water and wastewater investment programme by coordinating infrastructure-project preparation, implementation, monitoring and reporting. The role works with the Project Specialist, government institutions, municipalities, contractors and beneficiaries to deliver compliant, inclusive project results, strengthen implementation capacity and share programme knowledge.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preparation, implementation, monitoring and reporting for infrastructure-project components
  • Support planning and delivery of project activities with attention to marginalised groups and gender issues
  • Liaise with contractors, municipalities, government institutions and project partners
  • Prepare progress reports, annual work-plan inputs and the monitoring and evaluation framework
  • Support recruitment, compliance and value-for-money controls for project deliverables
  • Compile and distribute project knowledge, products and tools to partners

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Political Science or another relevant field, or a bachelor's degree in those fields with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • Bachelor's-degree applicants require at least two years of relevant experience in project coordination or implementation
  • Fluency in Serbian and English

Desired Criteria

  • Experience supporting large-scale investment development projects
  • Experience implementing donor-funded projects, including KfW or EIB projects
  • Experience in project planning, monitoring or reporting
  • Experience with international organisations or government institutions
  • Experience in environment, climate change, sustainable development, resilience or energy
