Job Description
UNESCO seeks a Project Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Associated Schools Network Unit in the Education Sector. The role manages correspondence, contracts, data, budgets and information systems, supports events and digital outreach, and helps process new school applications so that the Unit’s programme and financial activities are delivered efficiently.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Receive, analyse, register and distribute correspondence and maintain information systems and distribution lists
- Prepare draft contracts in FABS and follow up on processing and payments
- Compile and update information and data for work plans, budgets and programme reporting
- Proofread and format documents and prepare communication materials
- Support virtual and in-person meetings, workshops, seminars and related logistics
- Support ASPnet digital outreach and process new school applications against established criteria
Role Requirements
- Completed secondary, technical or vocational education
- Minimum three years of relevant work experience in administrative or secretarial tasks
- Experience in programme support preferably in an international environment
- Experience providing administrative and organisational support for meetings, workshops or similar events
- Excellent drafting skills in English or French and good working knowledge of the other language
- Entitlement to work in France
Desired Criteria
- Previous experience with UNESCO and its administrative procedures and financial process
- Knowledge of other UNESCO official languages including Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish
