Job Description
UNESCO is recruiting two Education Project Administrative Assistants in Yaoundé to support its Central Africa Regional Office. The SC-5 service-contract roles prepare project workplans and meeting records, track activities and budgets, organise missions and workshops, process procurement and payments, manage documentation, and support education-sector priorities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prepare annual workplans and terms of reference for education-project activities
- Participate in partner meetings and prepare meeting records
- Track education-project activities and budgets including SAP expenditure updates
- Provide administrative and logistical support for missions, meetings, workshops and conferences
- Support procurement, contracts, purchase orders, travel preparations and payment files
- Manage project documentation and coordinate follow-up requests with regional, headquarters and partner teams
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in management, project management, social sciences or a related field
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in administration, human resources, finance, procurement or related fields
- Fluency in French or English
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Criteria
- Experience in UNESCO competence areas
- Experience within the UN system or an international organisation
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP
