Job Description
Supports the FAO Representation in the DRC with office and financial administration. The national UN Volunteer manages financial records, budgets, cash and programme accounts; verifies data and disbursements; prepares administrative correspondence and reports; maintains inventory and filing systems; and liaises with banks and internal units to keep office operations efficient and compliant.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records, office systems, cash advances, petty cash and assigned project and programme accounts
- Collect, enter, select and analyse data from FAO information systems and databases
- Verify fund availability, budget compliance and the completeness of financial documents
- Prepare administrative and financial correspondence and respond to requests for transaction information
- Maintain budget forecasts, obligations and available balances and contribute to budget proposals
- Produce budget-status reports and flag variances from approved budgets
- Maintain inventory, administrative and financial filing systems and liaise with local banks
Role Requirements
- Secondary-school diploma
- Four years of relevant professional experience in administration, accounting and office management
- Fluent written and spoken French
- Congolese nationality
Desired Criteria
- Experience with United Nations agencies or international NGOs is an asset
