Summary of Responsibilities
- Design programme strategies for the humanitarian, development and peace nexus
- Manage programme implementation, annual workplans, budgets and partner reporting
- Provide technical assistance and capacity development to programme partners
- Monitor programme implementation and finances using results-based management tools
- Build partnerships and resource-mobilisation strategies with national partners and donors
- Support inter-agency coordination on humanitarian assistance, durable solutions and recovery programming
- Develop advocacy, knowledge-management and communication products
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in social sciences, human rights, gender or women's studies, international development or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional qualifying years
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development projects
- Technical experience in gender in humanitarian action
- Fluency in English and Arabic
Desired Criteria
- Project or programme management certification
- Experience coordinating with government agencies or donors
- Experience working in the UN System
- Experience using Oracle Cloud
