Programme Officer

Support the OSCE Secretariat’s anti-trafficking office to analyse developments and regional trends, develop research and policy outputs, coordinate stakeholders and events, and strengthen participating States’ action against trafficking. Lead evidence-based assessments, facilitate policy and legal analysis, and support technical assistance, capacity building, project development and advocacy.

• Analyze trafficking-related political, legal and human-dimension developments
• Collect and analyze regional trends and comparative assessments
• Develop research concepts and supervise contracted experts
• Draft briefs, speeches, research papers and reports
• Maintain contacts with States, authorities, NGOs and partner organizations
• Organize meetings, workshops and conferences

• First-level university degree in a relevant subject
• At least seven years of experience, or five with a relevant second-level degree
• Knowledge of trafficking in human beings and anti-trafficking stakeholders
• Professional fluency in English

• Working knowledge of another OSCE regional language, particularly Russian, is desirable
