Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead human-rights and humanitarian-law monitoring and follow-up
  • Manage evidence collection, documentation and quality control
  • Coordinate field verification and investigative missions
  • Produce human-rights reports and analytical papers
  • Advise on human-rights integration, protection and accountability
  • Support treaty bodies, special procedures and commissions of inquiry

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in human rights, law, political science, international relations, social sciences, economics, public policy, sustainable development, humanitarian affairs or related field
  • At least seven years of human-rights or related experience
  • Human-rights monitoring, documentation, analysis and reporting knowledge
  • English fluency

Desired Criteria

  • French or Spanish
  • Human-rights work in humanitarian contexts
  • Data analysis and project-management skills
