Job Description

UN Women seeks a Programme Analyst in Ankara to support gender-responsive planning and budgeting. The analyst will contribute to programme design, coordinate implementation and partner reporting, monitor results and budgets, provide capacity development, analyse policy and evidence, support resource mobilization and interagency coordination, and develop advocacy, communications and knowledge

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Contribute to programme strategies and proposals
  • Coordinate programme implementation and partner reporting
  • Train partners on results-based management
  • Monitor programme results and indicators
  • Monitor budgets and financial reports
  • Support resource-mobilization documentation
  • Support interagency coordination and advocacy activities

Role Requirements

  • Master's degree in social sciences, human rights, gender studies, international development or a related field
  • First-level degree plus two additional years may replace the advanced degree
  • At least 1 year in programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting or capacity building on gender equality
  • Fluency in English and Turkish

Desired Criteria

  • Programme-management certification
  • Gender-responsive planning and budgeting experience
  • Policy analysis and legislative-review experience
  • Experience liaising with government, civil society or donors
  • UN-system experience
