Job Description

The PMO Implementation Manager and Head of Product Delivery leads WFP’s digital-services portfolio across corporate and field environments from Rome. The P-4 role directs product and project managers, aligns digital initiatives with enterprise processes, manages budgets and delivery risks, and ensures governance, audit readiness and value realization across strategic digital investments.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead the Digital Services Product and Project Manager Team
  • Set product strategies, roadmaps and prioritization across corporate and field-facing products
  • Apply consistent project, programme and product-management standards across the portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with WFP policies, financial rules and enterprise IT governance
  • Coordinate audit responses, mitigation plans and follow-up actions
  • Lead budget planning, forecasting, cost control and reporting for TEC branches
  • Coordinate cross-branch delivery for Corporate Change Initiatives

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Project or Programme Management or a related field, or first degree with additional relevant experience
  • At least 8 years of programme, project or product-management experience including 4 years in IT or digital environments
  • At least 2 years in HR and Finance
  • Fluency in English
  • Open to all nationalities

Desired Criteria

  • Experience within complex organizations applying compliance, governance and audit requirements
  • Knowledge of WFP’s mandate, organizational model and business operations
  • Knowledge of end-to-end WFP IT processes and digital product lifecycles
  • Experience with Agile and hybrid delivery models
