Job Description
Delivers accurate regional payroll, banking and disbursement services from UNDP’s Global Shared Service Centre. The post manages payroll transactions, controls and employee-payment processes in Quantum; supports country offices and partner agencies; reconciles financial records; and helps onboard, transition and train clients so global payroll services remain stable and compliant.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Administer payroll, banking and disbursement services for personnel paid through Quantum
- Monitor payroll processes, transactions, earnings, deductions and employee payments
- Advise clients on benefits, entitlements, staff rules and payroll-related HR policies
- Resolve payroll and HR-data issues with country offices, headquarters and partner agencies
- Oversee source-bank and employee-bank configuration and bank-to-book matters
- Post payroll expenditures to general ledgers and reconcile payroll records
- Map payroll workflows and onboard or transition headquarters bureaux and clients
- Deliver payroll-process workshops and training for country-office and headquarters staff
Role Requirements
- Secondary education
- At least 7 years of progressively responsible HR or finance experience with secondary education, or 4 years with a bachelor’s degree
- Experience using MS Office, spreadsheets, databases and payroll systems
- Experience applying UN or UNDP human-resources policies, rules and regulations
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Specialized certification in Human Resources or Finance Resources Management
- Experience using Oracle Cloud or Quantum payroll
- Knowledge of Quantum HCM modules
- Experience in payroll ERP rollouts and enhancements
- Working knowledge of another UN language
