Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor the legislative agenda on human rights priorities
- Prepare analysis supporting alignment of domestic legislation with international human rights law
- Document cases that may constitute human rights violations
- Support other tasks required to advance the mission’s human rights objectives
Role Requirements
- Master’s student or recent graduate, or bachelor’s student or final-year graduate, in law, international relations, political science or another social science
- Knowledge of international human rights law
- Knowledge of the functioning of the Peruvian legislature
- Legal research, analysis and synthesis capability with excellent written accuracy
- Fluent written and spoken Spanish
