Full-time, in-person internship with OHCHR's South-East Asia Regional Office (SEARO) in Bangkok, supporting the office's human rights monitoring, research, and engagement work across the region. Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse human rights developments and trends in South-East Asia
- Research and draft internal and external notes, reports, and daily news updates on the human rights situation in the region
- Support SEARO engagement with UN human rights mechanisms including Special Procedures and Treaty Bodies
- Assist with organising workshops and seminars, and maintaining information/resource tools and website content
- Participate in meetings and conferences and take notes as requested
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in final year of bachelor's, master's or PhD programme, OR have completed a bachelor's, master's or PhD degree; field of study must be closely related to the internship

- Full-time, in-person internship for 6 months based in Bangkok, Thailand. Non-Thai nationals are responsible for obtaining a valid visa and employment authorisation
