Summary of Responsibilities
- Contribute to programme and project development, implementation and evaluation activities
- Conduct programme budget planning and monitor budgets and project financial statements
- Review documents and reports, identify issues and propose corrective action and follow-up
- Coordinate actions for timely field-project completion and closure
- Validate the annual FAO operational plan against its logical framework and budget
- Prepare donor financial reports and guidance on budget codes and expenditure plans
- Prepare country-office human-resources planning and quarterly statements
- Review local travel authorizations and expense claims in GRMS for accuracy and compliance
Role Requirements
- Postgraduate degree or a bachelor's degree with relevant experience in operations, finance, accounting, economics, development, project management, international development, agriculture or a related field
- Minimum three years' experience in operations and budget monitoring
- Working knowledge of English and Portuguese
- National of Angola
