Job Description

Leads UNICEF Ghana’s Operations function as a strategic business partner for effective, efficient and accountable country-programme delivery. The Deputy Representative provides policy advice and operational oversight; manages operations systems, people, resources and partnerships; drives risk management, value for money and digital transformation; leads cross-functional teams; and strengthens.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee Operations for accountable country-programme delivery
  • Provide strategic leadership policy advice and operational oversight
  • Manage budget finance facilities administration supply logistics ICT and safety and security services
  • Drive fiduciary risk management and address financial performance fraud procurement and asset risks
  • Support audit reviews and monitor implementation of recommendations
  • Lead cross-functional teams and support donor-fund management

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in business management financial management accounting public finance or related operations function or recognized professional accounting designation
  • At least eight years of professional operations-management experience at national and international levels
  • Experience implementing strategic organizational initiatives in budget finance facilities administration supply logistics ICT or human resources
  • Fluency in English
  • Results-Based Management experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
