Job Description
Provides operational leadership for UNICEF’s Ebola response in Bunia, coordinating supply chain, finance, administration, risk management and ICT. The manager ensures agile emergency systems for programme delivery, advises the Ebola Coordination team on governance and resource optimisation, and strengthens financial controls, logistics and field operations under simplified emergency procedures.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead operational functions including supply chain, finance, administration, risk management and ICT for the Ebola response
- Ensure agile, risk-informed operational systems that enable timely supplies, personnel deployment and uninterrupted programme response
- Advise the Ebola Coordination team on operational approaches, governance, resource optimisation and systems strengthening
- Manage administration and field operations in Bunia
- Strengthen financial management, supply-chain logistics and internal controls for emergency delivery
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in accounting, finance or business administration
- Eight years of professional experience in finance and accounting management, including experience acquired internationally
- Fluency in French and intermediate English
Desired Criteria
- Country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
