Job Description
Support IOM's Migrant Protection and Assistance Unit in Brussels with Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration operations. The assistant manages applications and pre-departure arrangements, coordinates travel documentation and airport assistance, keeps financial records and supports reporting so migrants can depart, transit and arrive safely and efficiently.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Receive and register incoming AVRR applications and dispatch them to the correct focal points
- Coordinate pre-departure formalities, travel documents, departure packages and arrangements with referral partners and missions
- Compile project statistics, verify data and support donor reports
- Arrange flight bookings in line with IOM rules and systems
- Provide migrants with departure, transit and arrival assistance at Brussels Airport
- Record financial transactions and report expenditures to the Finance unit
- Report airport-duty issues and draft incident reports
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management or a related field with two years of relevant professional experience, or a high school diploma with four years
- Experience in Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration
- Experience in IOM Movement Operations
- Fluency in English and French or Dutch, orally and in writing
- Valid EU category B driving licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle
