National Vaccine Management ConsultantNew

Provides technical assistance to strengthen Tajikistan's national immunisation system, vaccine cold chain and supply planning. The consultant will support vaccine distribution, storage and inventory management; interpret stock and wastage data; coordinate with national stakeholders; and build practical capacity for reliable vaccine-management functions and immunisation supply chains.

• Strengthen national immunisation systems and vaccine cold-chain capacity
• Support vaccine supply planning and forecasting
• Coordinate with the Republican Center of Immunoprophylaxis and other stakeholders
• Develop vaccine distribution plans and optimise cold-chain equipment use
• Maintain cold-chain integrity and apply national immunisation guidelines
• Analyse vaccine receipts, distribution, utilisation and wastage data
• Provide tailored training to health workers and support routine vaccine-management functions

• Master's degree or higher in public health, medicine, pharmacy, health systems management, supply chain management, logistics, procurement or a closely related field
• At least five years of experience including three years in immunisation, vaccine logistics and public health
• Advanced knowledge of vaccine storage, cold chain infrastructure, inventory policies, allocation, ordering and distribution
• Experience analysing vaccine stock data and using digital LMIS tools
• Fluency in Tajik and Russian

• Experience with UNICEF, MoHSPP, RCIP, WHO, Gavi or development partners
• Experience mentoring government counterparts
• Familiarity with national immunisation policies and vaccine-logistics working groups
• Working knowledge of English
