Senior Manager, African Vaccine Manufacturing Accelerator Market Shaping Operations

Gavi seeks a Senior Manager in Geneva to lead African Vaccine Manufacturing Accelerator market-shaping operations. The manager will operationalize AVMA, drive monitoring and learning, coordinate Gavi and Alliance partners, deliver governance and donor reporting, engage manufacturers, and lead ecosystem analysis and strategic recommendations for regional vaccine manufacturing.

• Lead AVMA operationalization and implementation
• Drive monitoring, evaluation and learning activities
• Coordinate cross-functional Gavi and Alliance collaboration
• Develop governance papers, donor updates and periodic reviews
• Provide strategic recommendations for AVMA course corrections
• Manage engagement with manufacturers and AVMA Manufacturing Forums
• Lead ecosystem analyses and regional manufacturing landscape reviews

• Degree in life sciences, public health, business administration, economics or a related field
• Eight to twelve years of pharmaceutical, biologicals, health-commodities or related healthcare-sector experience
• At least three years of vaccine-market experience
• Fluent written and verbal English

• MBA or equivalent business-related qualification
• Experience in developing-country contexts
• French
