Seeking experienced medical doctors for a roster of field-based assignments (3 months up to 1 year) to strengthen partner organisations' capacity to manage trauma related to explosive hazards. Combines medical expertise, operational understanding and teaching skills to deliver Blast Trauma Care training and a Training of Trainers approach.

Responsibilities
- Review and strengthen medical procedures for mine action operations including casualty management and evacuation chains
- Deliver training in Blast Trauma Care tailored to operational realities
- Design and implement a Training of Trainers approach to build a sustainable pool of local instructors
- Provide practical, context-adapted medical advice to improve preparedness and response
- May provide operational support or CBRN-focused trauma training
Requirements
- Medical doctor with specialization in anaesthesia, intensive care, emergency medicine, prehospital care or other relevant clinical field (or substantial hands-on trauma care experience)
- 8 years of clinical experience including trauma management
- Proven experience working in low-resource or humanitarian settings
- Availability to be deployed 3 consecutive months (up to 12 months for some missions)
- Driving license (manual transmission vehicles)
- English C1 level mandatory
