Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Field Officer

Implements ICRC mental health and psychosocial support activities in Lviv, including direct support for people affected by conflict and families of missing persons.

Department: Health Unit

• Develop, implement and follow up MHPSS activities at local and national level
• Provide individual consultations and group support meetings, mainly for families of missing persons
• Maintain links with beneficiaries and organize referral and follow-up of cases
• Set up monitoring and evaluation tools and ensure regular data collection
• Maintain contacts with external stakeholders under the MHPSS strategy
• Translate and adapt materials for training and clinical supervision
• Train and supervise MHPSS staff from partner organizations and teams
• Provide supervisors with regular data and programme updates

• Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
• University degree in psychology or clinical psychology, or qualification in an evidence-based psychological approach
• Licence to practise with documentation confirming membership in a national association
• At least three years of overall professional experience, including at least two years in MHPSS programmes, preferably in humanitarian organizations
• Proven experience delivering individual and group psychological or psychosocial support
• Professional written and spoken fluency in English and Ukrainian
• Computer literacy, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel within the geographical area of responsibility

• Employment contract under Ukrainian labour law with flexible working arrangements
• Salary between UAH 60,000 and 88,000 gross before taxation
