Job Description

Conducts documented benchmarking for UNICEF’s ACT-A–HEPR and WASH programme in Benin. The national consultant will assess large-scale health programming, analyse quantitative and qualitative data, and produce decision-ready analytical reports. The work supports stronger community health, immunisation, emergency and WASH interventions across beneficiary health zones.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Conduct documented benchmarking of ACT-A–HEPR and WASH programming
  • Evaluate large-scale health programme monitoring and performance
  • Collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data
  • Produce analytical and synthesis reports for decision-makers
  • Assess multi-component immunisation, WASH and emergency interventions
  • Undertake field work in beneficiary health zones

Role Requirements

  • Master’s degree in public health, WASH, humanitarian and community programme management, epidemiology or a related field
  • At least five years of experience evaluating, monitoring or benchmarking large-scale health programmes
  • Experience in public-health or community-development projects
  • Experience managing or evaluating multi-component immunisation, WASH and emergency programmes
  • French as the primary required language

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with the UN system or UNICEF
  • English proficiency
  • Knowledge of the Beninese context and community health systems
