National Project Coordinator

Coordinates technical project activities on textiles in Syria, supporting implementation, stakeholder engagement and delivery of agreed outputs. The national consultant works with UNIDO, counterparts and project partners to organise activities, provide subject-matter input, monitor progress and strengthen practical industrial-development results under a time-bound non-staff appointment.

• Coordinate logistics operations for health and security emergencies
• Maintain emergency stocks and support rapid deployment of strategic supplies
• Manage receipt, verification and distribution of goods and consumables
• Maintain warehouse records and monitor stock movements
• Process customs exemptions, import authorisations and cargo clearance
• Prepare periodic reports on stocks, shipments and logistics constraints

• Baccalaureate plus three years or a technical diploma in logistics or management
• At least eight years of practical relevant experience in logistics or stock management
• Excellent knowledge of French
• Working knowledge of English
