Strengthens WFP Haiti's logistics coordination and external-service delivery by aligning partners, government institutions and humanitarian actors, improving compliance and data-driven planning, and supporting preparedness, reform implementation and reliable assistance in a complex operating environment.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead design and continuous improvement of logistics-coordination mechanisms
  • Assess logistics capacity, gaps and bottlenecks to inform strategy and humanitarian priorities
  • Build partnerships and inclusive stakeholder participation for information-sharing and joint problem-solving
  • Coordinate transport, storage, customs-clearance and fuel services for humanitarian partners
  • Support national coordination through OCHA-led inter-cluster forums
  • Develop standard operating procedures for external-service delivery
  • Collect, analyse and disseminate logistics data and performance information
  • Provide technical support, training and mentoring to civil-protection and disaster-risk actors
  • Support contingency planning and integration of national logistics capacity
  • Support fundraising and reporting with technical contributions and operational analysis

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in supply-chain management, economics, commerce, business administration, logistics or a related field, or first-level degree with three additional years of relevant experience
  • At least three years of progressively responsible professional experience
  • Fluency in French
  • Haitian nationality
