Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate supply planning, procurement follow-up, warehousing, inventory, fleet and transport for Ebola preparedness and response
- Manage receipt, storage, documentation, allocation, dispatch and monitoring of emergency supplies
- Track last-mile deliveries across health facilities, border points, community sites and partner warehouses
- Support pre-positioning, readiness checks, supplier mapping and contingency planning
- Provide operational support to government, programme teams and implementing partners
- Monitor stocks, pipelines, distribution progress, risks and delivery performance for management reporting
- Improve field supply tracking, accountability and reporting tools
- Travel to high-risk counties, warehouses, health facilities and points of entry to support field operations
Role Requirements
- University degree in business administration, management, economics, supply chain management, logistics, procurement, contract or commercial law, international development, health or a related social-science field
- At least two years of relevant professional experience in supply, logistics, procurement, warehousing, inventory, fleet, transport, contracting, administration or a directly related field
- Operational coordination, planning, problem-solving, analytical and reporting capability
- Expertise in logistics, procurement, inventory management, transport coordination, operational coordination and reporting
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience in humanitarian operations, emergency response, public-health emergencies or fragile field settings
- Experience supporting Ebola, cholera, measles, mpox or comparable outbreak responses
- Experience in health supply chains, partner support, last-mile distribution, stock monitoring or emergency supply reporting
- Country-level experience in development, fragile or humanitarian settings
