Responsibilities

  • Lead the country office Supply Section and supervise professional and support staff
  • Manage supply-chain service delivery for programmes and emergency response
  • Oversee planning, procurement, contracting, customs, warehousing, transport and distribution
  • Coordinate supply interventions with programme and implementing partners
  • Provide technical advice to government and national supply systems
  • Manage financial and material resources and monitor supply-chain performance
  • Drive innovation in products, markets and supply approaches

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract or Commercial Law, International Development, Health or a related social science field
  • At least eight years of relevant national and international experience in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting, administration or a directly related technical field
  • Understanding of development and humanitarian work
  • Proficiency in English
