Responsibilities
- Lead the country office Supply Section and supervise professional and support staff
- Manage supply-chain service delivery for programmes and emergency response
- Oversee planning, procurement, contracting, customs, warehousing, transport and distribution
- Coordinate supply interventions with programme and implementing partners
- Provide technical advice to government and national supply systems
- Manage financial and material resources and monitor supply-chain performance
- Drive innovation in products, markets and supply approaches
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract or Commercial Law, International Development, Health or a related social science field
- At least eight years of relevant national and international experience in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting, administration or a directly related technical field
- Understanding of development and humanitarian work
- Proficiency in English
