Responsibilities

  • Support procurement and supply-chain operations under UNICEF procedures
  • Assist with incoming air and sea shipments
  • Support warehouse operations and inventory control
  • Coordinate transport and distribution activities
  • Maintain operational data and prepare supply and logistics reports
  • Provide administrative coordination and contribute to continuous process improvement

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • Current enrolment in an undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral programme, recent graduation within the past two years, or specialised training in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, administration or a related field
  • Fluency in French
  • Excellent academic performance demonstrated by recent university or institutional records
  • No immediate relative in the supervisory reporting line
  • No disqualification under UNICEF child-safeguarding personnel standards

Additional info

  • On-site internship for three months
  • Monthly stipend equal to 70 per cent of the GS-3 step 1 monthly salary
  • Per diem is payable at applicable UN rates for duty travel
