Supply and Logistics Intern

Supports UNICEF’s supply and logistics team with procurement, incoming shipments, warehousing, stock control, transport, distribution and operational reporting. The internship builds practical experience while helping the team coordinate administrative tasks and improve supply-chain processes under UNICEF procedures.

• Support procurement and supply-chain operations under UNICEF procedures
• Assist with incoming air and sea shipments
• Support warehouse operations and inventory control
• Coordinate transport and distribution activities
• Maintain operational data and prepare supply and logistics reports
• Provide administrative coordination and contribute to continuous process improvement

• At least 18 years old
• Current enrolment in an undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral programme, recent graduation within the past two years, or specialised training in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, administration or a related field
• Fluency in French
• Excellent academic performance demonstrated by recent university or institutional records
• No immediate relative in the supervisory reporting line
• No disqualification under UNICEF child-safeguarding personnel standards

• On-site internship for three months
• Monthly stipend equal to 70 per cent of the GS-3 step 1 monthly salary
• Per diem is payable at applicable UN rates for duty travel
• Interns receive 2.5 days of leave per month, including medical leave
• UNICEF provides work equipment during the internship
