Responsibilities
- Lead planning, forecasting, implementation and monitoring for the Procurement Services portfolio
- Build large-scale partnerships with government, development partners, banks and implementing partners
- Capture emerging supply requirements and translate them into viable Procurement Services requests
- Link procurement services with national supply-chain strengthening and programme priorities
- Guide supply financing, customs clearance, supply planning and country procurement support
- Manage complex projects, financial and material resources, and professional and support staff
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business administration, management, logistics, supply chain management, procurement, international development, health or a related social science
- At least eight years of relevant experience in supply management, international procurement, supply chains, logistics, project management, public procurement, capacity building, partnerships, government relations, customs clearance or supply planning
- Ability to manage change in a diverse environment and monitor the effective use of financial and material resources
- Experience supervising and directing professional and support staff
- Fluency in English
