Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, forecasting, implementation and monitoring for the Procurement Services portfolio
  • Build large-scale partnerships with government, development partners, banks and implementing partners
  • Capture emerging supply requirements and translate them into viable Procurement Services requests
  • Link procurement services with national supply-chain strengthening and programme priorities
  • Guide supply financing, customs clearance, supply planning and country procurement support
  • Manage complex projects, financial and material resources, and professional and support staff

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in business administration, management, logistics, supply chain management, procurement, international development, health or a related social science
  • At least eight years of relevant experience in supply management, international procurement, supply chains, logistics, project management, public procurement, capacity building, partnerships, government relations, customs clearance or supply planning
  • Ability to manage change in a diverse environment and monitor the effective use of financial and material resources
  • Experience supervising and directing professional and support staff
  • Fluency in English
