Responsibilities
- Supervise the country-office supply team and its emergency-response workload
- Plan procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, transport and distribution activities
- Monitor supplies, services and construction works throughout the delivery cycle
- Coordinate supply interventions with programme teams and implementing partners
- Advise government counterparts and national systems on supply-chain management
- Assess markets, products and supply innovations that can improve emergency delivery
Requirements
- First-level university degree in business administration, management, economics, supply chain management, logistics, procurement, commercial engineering, contract law, international development, health or a related social science
- At least one year of relevant national or international experience in supply management, logistics, procurement, contracting, commerce, import and export, operations, customs, warehousing, inventory, transportation, vendor management or administration
- Understanding of development and humanitarian work
- Basic understanding of end-to-end supply-chain processes
- Demonstrated experience supervising people
- Analytical and negotiation skills
- Fluency in Spanish and intermediate English
