National Private Sector Engagement Officer

IOM seeks a National Private Sector Engagement Officer to build strategic partnerships with companies and philanthropic foundations in Hong Kong SAR. The role drives targeted outreach, prospect mapping, fundraising strategy and donor stewardship, while coordinating IOM teams in China, Asia-Pacific and headquarters to expand flexible funding and responsible business engagement.

• Implement targeted outreach, relationship management and stewardship for private sector partners in Hong Kong SAR
• Identify, map and prioritise new private sector prospects with the Global Partnerships and Pipeline Development Unit
• Design and implement a private sector outreach and fundraising strategy aligned with global and regional priorities
• Maintain the Salesforce/Wave donor and partner database and analyse engagement and fundraising performance
• Provide technical guidance to partners on migration issues, ethical recruitment, migrant rights and inclusive business practices
• Prepare proposals, concept notes and partnership materials for private sector audiences
• Monitor partnership-development KPIs, pipeline growth and fundraising targets
• Coordinate partnership reporting and engagement across Beijing, Asia-Pacific and headquarters teams

• Master’s degree in business management, Political Science, Human Rights, International Relations, Marketing or a related field with five years of professional experience, or a university degree in those fields with seven years
• Native Chinese or Cantonese speaker with oral and written fluency in English
• Valid residence and work permit for the country where the position is based

• Experience in handling Corporate Social Responsibility programmes and corporate recognition programmes
• Experience supporting identification of private sector opportunities and development of solutions with prospective partners
• Experience in fundraising and donor engagement within an international organisation or UN context
