Summary of Responsibilities

  • Review legislation, policies, procedures, tools, service information and referral pathways
  • Identify gaps between policy and protection practice for vulnerable migrants
  • Conduct interviews and consultations with government, civil society and service providers
  • Map service coverage and institutional coordination arrangements
  • Develop evidence-based recommendations and standard operating procedures
  • Facilitate validation workshops and prepare the final analytical report

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in law, social sciences, international relations, migration studies, human rights or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in migration, trafficking in persons, protection systems or vulnerable-migrant assistance
  • Proven qualitative research and assessment experience including interviews, focus groups and analytical reports
  • In-depth understanding of Tajikistan and Central Asia
  • Fluency in Tajik or Russian
