Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to government departments and implementing partners for ongoing projects
- Work with national focal points to strengthen ownership and leadership of flagship initiatives
- Liaise with South-South technical partners to deliver OCOP technical assistance
- Prepare and monitor annual workplans for support projects
- Mobilize technical and financial resources with FAO technical units
- Facilitate policy dialogue on public-private partnerships for a robust potato seed system
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Agricultural Economics or a related field
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in Agronomy, Agriculture, Agricultural Economics or a related field
- Working knowledge of English and Sesotho
- National of Lesotho
