National Consultant to Support the Final Evaluation of the UN Women Project: Women’s Increased Leadership for Democracy in Georgia (WILD)

Supports the international evaluator in conducting UN Women’s final assessment of the WILD project in Georgia. The assignment brings Georgian context, translation and field-research support to a participatory evaluation, helping collect and analyse stakeholder evidence, test the project’s theory of change, and produce a credible final report and learning outputs.

• Provide Georgian context and advice for a sensitive, utilisation-focused project evaluation
• Review project reports, assessments, studies and draft laws, translating key Georgian documents into English
• Help develop the evaluation methodology, interview and focus-group guides, and Georgian-language instruments
• Arrange and support stakeholder meetings, interviews and focus groups, including interpretation and English summaries
• Conduct selected interviews and focus groups independently using agreed guides and analyse evidence with the international evaluator
• Contribute inputs, clarifications and preliminary findings materials for the final evaluation report

• Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Social Policy or a related field, or a first-level degree with seven additional qualifying years
• At least five years of experience in gender equality, gender mainstreaming, gender analysis or women’s empowerment, with seven years required for the first-level-degree route
• At least five years of experience supporting evaluations of strategies, policies or projects, with seven years for the first-level-degree route
• At least five years of qualitative-research experience, including instruments, interviews, focus groups and data analysis, with seven years for the first-level-degree route
• Proficiency in English and Georgian

• Experience of gender analysis and human-rights-based approaches
• Knowledge of the gender equality situation in Georgia is an asset
