National Consultant to Support a New Model of Pedagogical PracticumNew

Provides national technical, methodological and coordination support to finalise, pilot and institutionalise a revised pedagogical practicum model for pre-service teacher education in Tajikistan. The consultant will strengthen practicum instruments, capacity development, mentoring, monitoring and normative materials with pilot universities, schools and education institutions.

• Finalise and institutionalise the revised pedagogical practicum model
• Develop practicum instruments and methodological materials
• Build capacity of university faculty and school-based methodologists
• Mentor and monitor pilot implementation
• Coordinate methodological discussions with project partners

• Master's degree in education, pedagogy, teacher education or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant education and teacher-development experience
• Proficiency in Tajik and Russian

• Experience in the IsDB/GPE project phases
• Knowledge of Tajikistan's teacher education context
