Job Description
This home-based UN Women consultancy advances women’s economic empowerment in Azerbaijan by engaging private companies and business associations on the Women’s Empowerment Principles. The consultant will recruit and coordinate WEPs signatories, strengthen gender-responsive corporate policies, map prospects including ICT firms, conduct outreach meetings, and produce company success stories.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Promote WEPs among private-sector partners and business associations
- Support new enterprises to sign WEPs and implement gender-responsive policies
- Maintain coordination with WEPs focal points from private-sector companies
- Liaise with the WEPs Secretariat on Azerbaijani members
- Develop company success stories
- Map potential WEPs signatories including ICT and innovation firms
- Conduct bilateral and multilateral outreach meetings
Role Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in business, finance, gender, social sciences, economics or a related field
- Experience using MS Office, spreadsheet and database packages, and web-based management systems
- Fluency in English and Azerbaijani
Desired Criteria
- Private-sector gender-equality and women’s-empowerment experience is an asset
- Network-coordination experience is an asset
