Job Description
Provide home-based technical support to strengthen the resilience of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Serbia under UNDRR's Western Balkans disaster-risk-reduction initiative. The consultant will adapt resilience and business-continuity tools, establish an advisory service with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, pilot approaches with MSMEs, and convene public and private stakeholders to promote resilience investments.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assess MSME resilience needs, policy frameworks and support services in Serbia
- Adapt and promote MSME resilience tools for Serbian use
- Establish a business-continuity-planning advisory service within the Serbian Chamber of Commerce
- Pilot resilience tools with MSMEs and identify improvements for scale-up
- Facilitate dialogue on an enabling environment for MSME resilience
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in economics, statistics, public administration, social sciences or a related area, or a first-level degree with at least two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least five years of experience in economic development, SMEs, business resilience, sustainable development, disaster risk reduction or related areas
- Fluency in English and Serbian

- Experience supporting SME resilience capacity in Serbia
