Summary of Responsibilities

  • Review agenda, speaker biographies and protocol list
  • Develop transitions and contingency announcements
  • Welcome delegates and manage ceremonial protocol
  • Open and close plenaries and high-level panels
  • Anchor discussion in representation, electoral integrity and support systems
  • Submit final script and conference summary

Role Requirements

  • Master’s degree in international development, human rights, law, gender and governance or a related field
  • At least two years of experience facilitating or moderating high-level multi-stakeholder conferences
  • Fluency in English

Desired Criteria

  • AU, SADC or UN conference experience
  • Gender, elections and African political-context experience
  • Participatory data-collection experience
