Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day logistics-contracting activities and issue requests for quotation to shortlisted companies
  • Analyse transport-sector data and logistics-service markets to recommend contracting improvements
  • Verify submitted data through visits to transporters and logistics service providers
  • Conduct due diligence on existing and prospective logistics service providers
  • Prepare contracting proposals, committee minutes and quarterly supply-chain reports
  • Monitor provider performance, tariffs, allocation plans and capacity commitments and escalate corrective actions

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in transport economics, supply chain, logistics, engineering, business management or a related field, or first university degree with additional related experience and training
  • Five years of relevant experience including one year of professional experience
  • English and Arabic

Desired Criteria

  • Experience coordinating service providers' contract execution
  • Experience conducting logistics-service market assessments
  • Experience evaluating offers, writing proposals and preparing reports
