Summary of Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day logistics-contracting activities and issue requests for quotation to shortlisted companies
- Analyse transport-sector data and logistics-service markets to recommend contracting improvements
- Verify submitted data through visits to transporters and logistics service providers
- Conduct due diligence on existing and prospective logistics service providers
- Prepare contracting proposals, committee minutes and quarterly supply-chain reports
- Monitor provider performance, tariffs, allocation plans and capacity commitments and escalate corrective actions
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in transport economics, supply chain, logistics, engineering, business management or a related field, or first university degree with additional related experience and training
- Five years of relevant experience including one year of professional experience
- English and Arabic
