Job Description
Supports the Registries of the United Nations Dispute Tribunal and Appeals Tribunal in New York with legal and paralegal work. The intern researches administrative-law cases, drafts judgment summaries, summarises facts and party contentions, edits and formats decisions, assists hearing logistics, and maintains registry files and databases in the Court Case Management System and SharePoint.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research for Legal Officers and Judges
- Draft summaries of Judgments for the case law portal
- Summarise facts and parties contentions for Judges
- Edit proofread format and finalise Judgments and Orders
- Assist organisational and logistical preparation of hearings
- Maintain databases and files in electronic systems
Role Requirements
- Enrollment in a graduate programme or final academic year of a first university degree preferably in law international relations or public administration
- Computer literacy in standard software applications
- Fluency in oral and written English
