Summary of Responsibilities
- Formulate Treaty Section work programme and allocate resources
- Manage Section administration, budgets and staff performance
- Supervise treaty-law research, legal advice and final-clause drafting
- Direct treaty registration and depositary functions
- Promote multilateral treaty participation and organize treaty events
- Oversee treaty data processing, publications and capacity development
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in law with public-international-law training
- Ten years of progressively responsible public international law experience
- Managerial experience in a multicultural international organization or government
- English fluency
Desired Criteria
- Treaty-law specialty
- Innovation, behavioral-science or strategic-foresight experience
- French fluency
