IOM is calling for a consultant to manage protection cases and reinforce institutional support during the Colombia earthquake response. The consultant will assess individual needs and risks, plan assistance, make confidential referrals and monitor outcomes, while working with local authorities and humanitarian organisations to maintain accessible protection services for people.

• Coordinate field activities for the Venezuela earthquake response
• Liaise with authorities, communities and Movement partners
• Monitor humanitarian delivery and accountability
• Strengthen operational capacity of the Venezuelan Red Cross
• Analyse security and humanitarian access conditions

• Experience in emergency response operations
• Experience coordinating with humanitarian actors
• Strong field coordination and reporting skills

• Experience in emergency or disaster responses
• Experience with displaced, migrant or refugee populations
• Knowledge of Colombian protection pathways
