IT Solutions Assistant

Builds and improves management-information systems for WFP Bangladesh social-protection programmes. The assistant designs modules, maintains cloud and deployment infrastructure, improves integration and data protection, supports beneficiary-data and government-to-person payments, and transfers skills to the Department of Women Affairs MIS unit for sustainable operations.

• Design and develop MCBP and VWB management-information-system modules with the MIS Officer
• Monitor integrated-solution performance and capacity and recommend configuration changes
• Develop software aligned with corporate IT architecture and data models
• Maintain continuous-improvement and deployment infrastructure
• Support beneficiary-data entry and monthly government-to-person payments
• Coordinate systems integration and server matters with government authorities and ministries
• Implement data-protection and security features and transfer MIS skills to the DWA MIS Unit

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• At least five years of experience designing and developing software solutions or relevant fields
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Bangla
• Bangladeshi nationality

• Computer Science or relevant education is preferable
• Large-scale software development using Java Spring Boot and MySQL is desirable
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure is desirable
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps delivery methodology is desirable
