Job Description
Supports WFP’s Global Beneficiary Services team in Panama City to roll out and sustain corporate digital tools for country offices. The assistant handles service requests and basic troubleshooting, trains local teams, prepares offices to adopt solutions, supports pilots and users, shares feedback and lessons, and documents processes to improve incident resolution and product adoption.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Handle service requests and troubleshoot basic incidents, escalating complex issues to senior team members
- Train local support teams according to standard operating procedures
- Help country offices understand corporate IT solutions for programme activities
- Gather requirements and share guidance materials to prepare country offices for new-tool adoption
- Provide logistical and technical support during pilot deployments and collect feedback
- Contribute to user training and awareness sessions for IT solutions
- Undertake local and international missions as required
- Share updates, lessons learned and user feedback to improve wider-team knowledge
Role Requirements
- Completion of secondary school education
- Minimum five years of experience in IT support, software adoption or digital-tools implementation
- Fluency in Spanish at level C and at least intermediate English at level B
- Panamanian citizen or resident with a permanent visa
Desired Criteria
- University degree in information technology, computer science or a related field
- Experience in a large organisation
- Intermediate knowledge of Arabic, French or Portuguese

Additional Information
- Service Contract at SC L5 level for 12 months
- Successful candidates will be placed on a two-year roster
- SC holders are not WFP staff members and are not governed by FAO Staff Regulations and Rules
