Job Description
Designs and deploys enterprise AI agents, copilots and workflow automation for ITU through a home-based consultancy roster. The consultant prioritises use cases, builds integrations and orchestration, establishes responsible-AI controls, delivers adoption workshops and hands over reusable patterns and scaling recommendations.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prioritise high-impact AI and automation opportunities across ITU
- Translate business needs into deployable AI solutions and implementation roadmaps
- Design, configure, test and deploy internal AI agents and copilots
- Integrate AI assistants, enterprise search and automation into operational workflows
- Establish AI governance guardrails aligned with security, privacy and data standards
- Deliver hands-on workshops, toolkits and reusable implementation templates
- Track agile delivery and coordinate business, technology and innovation stakeholders
- Document deployed solutions and recommend sustainable enterprise scaling
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree or equivalent diploma in artificial intelligence, computer science, information systems, software engineering, digital transformation or a related field
- At least eight years of experience in enterprise digital transformation, AI implementation, automation or innovation delivery
- Hands-on experience implementing enterprise or agentic AI solutions
- Practical experience developing workflow automations with enterprise AI platforms, copilots, APIs and orchestration frameworks
- Advanced English
Desired Criteria
- Experience in international organisations, governments or UN agencies
- Knowledge of another official ITU language
