Internal AI Strategy, Automation and Agentic AI Enablement Consultant

Designs and deploys enterprise AI agents, copilots and workflow automation for ITU through a home-based consultancy roster. The consultant prioritises use cases, builds integrations and orchestration, establishes responsible-AI controls, delivers adoption workshops and hands over reusable patterns and scaling recommendations.

Department: Information Services Department

• Prioritise high-impact AI and automation opportunities across ITU
• Translate business needs into deployable AI solutions and implementation roadmaps
• Design, configure, test and deploy internal AI agents and copilots
• Integrate AI assistants, enterprise search and automation into operational workflows
• Establish AI governance guardrails aligned with security, privacy and data standards
• Deliver hands-on workshops, toolkits and reusable implementation templates
• Track agile delivery and coordinate business, technology and innovation stakeholders
• Document deployed solutions and recommend sustainable enterprise scaling

• Advanced university degree or equivalent diploma in artificial intelligence, computer science, information systems, software engineering, digital transformation or a related field
• At least eight years of experience in enterprise digital transformation, AI implementation, automation or innovation delivery
• Hands-on experience implementing enterprise or agentic AI solutions
• Practical experience developing workflow automations with enterprise AI platforms, copilots, APIs and orchestration frameworks
• Advanced English

• Initial three-month contract with possible three-month extension
• Daily remuneration ranges from USD 280 to USD 650
